With our goal of creating a knowledge base for grassroots community leaders to deepen their practice and better serve their localities, we realized that we needed a playground where we could run experiments and test which methodologies best fit the activation of innovation communities in non-metro areas of the Philippines.

The programs we engage in aims to not only develop this understanding of best practices, but to also, in effect, uplift our playground community.

This idea of a “playground community” was inspired by the conceptualization of the Boulder Thesis. by Brad Feld.

Sprout Up, Bohol! Newsletter

With the goal of reaching 6,000 subscribers by 2027, the newsletter aims to not only serve news about valuable upskilling or networking opportunities around Bohol, but it also provides an opportunity to identify key players interested in the province.

Community Leaders’ Retreat

Creating a safe space where grassroots community leaders of different principles from provinces all over the Philippines can gather, connect, and ideate together on how to best develop and nurture their target communities.

Techstars Startup Weekend Bohol

This annual entrepreneurship program aims to bring individuals from diverse backgrounds together and experience startup culture by pitching, validating, building, and presenting a techonology-driven business idea all in 56 hours.

Sprout Up Campus

A student-led initiative that aims to empower student leaders to bring industry-relevant tech skills to their local campus by organizing workshops, conferences, and other upskilling opportunities for their fellow students.
