July 19 to 20, 2025 @ Davao City: This 2-day event aims to gather grassroots community leaders from around the Philippines, primarily those who work in the tech/innovation/startup/design sector, to connect and learn from each other on how to overcome challenges in their localities and how to improve themselves as representatives of their local organization or user group.
The program content is expected to be a mix of both theoretical and practical topics ranging from soft-skills (community weaving, sensing) and hard-skills (community strategy and auditing, member activation and succession). It will be facilitated by Ashley Uy, Sprout Up Philippines founder, through a combination of lectures and peer work for co-learning.
The venue will be in Davao City at Casa Felina. And the registration ticket includes:
- 2 nights stay (dorm style; girls and boys are separated in respective shared rooms)
- July 19 dinner and July 20 breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- program content and retreat experience
Participants are expected to shoulder their own transportation costs and other incidental costs to get to the venue on the indicated event dates.
Expect that the program start will be on July 19, 3PM and will end on July 20, 5PM.
Check-in is from July 19, 2PM
Check-out is on July 21, 11AM
